Paint It Black
Observe the posture
and technique that is very accommodating for playing difficult
pieces.
1.
Notice that the guitar
is placed on my left leg and my left knee is slightly higher than my
hip.
2.
Notice the guitar is
tipped up at an angle so my left hand can reach the neck easily and
my wrist is
relatively straight allowing my fingers complete mobility with no
stress on the tendons.
3.
Notice the placement of the right arm over the guitar, it's placed
so the hand is positioned right over the strings so you'll see the
elbow is not on the top of the guitar and the fingers can extend
into the strings or what I refer to as "standing on top of the
strings.
